If you are leaving one of these, here is what else exists
Nobody searches “Kajabi alternatives” while they are happy. Eight guides for the moment after (a price rise, a cap you crossed, a feature that turned out to be one tier up), each comparing eight to ten genuine replacements.

Leaving, or choosing between two?
You are on your way out
The decision is made; you need the field. Every guide opens with the documented reasons people go, then lays out eight to ten replacements, several of which we do not sell.
You have a shortlist of two
A roundup wastes your afternoon. The head-to-head hub puts nine products in one matrix and gives each rival a page of its own. Go to the head-to-head hub →
We recommend somebody else in every one of these guides
AXL appears in all eight as one option among many, in one lane (best if you want an AI agent to run the whole business), with the same skip it if section as everybody else.
Stay on Skool if the feed is the product
Where daily habit is what people pay for, Skool's engagement mechanics and discovery network beat ours, and the guide says so first. What it also says: the rake never reaches zero, with 10% on the $9 plan and 2.9% on the $99 one (skool.com/pricing).
Stay on GoHighLevel if you resell software
Agency Pro at $497 a month lets you resell the platform as your own product and rebill telephony with a markup (gohighlevel.com/pricing). AXL has no sub-accounts and no resale mode.
Stay on Thinkific if buyers ask for SCORM
Compliance buyers hand you a SCORM package and expect it to load. Thinkific hosts them on Plus. AXL cannot host SCORM at all, either on a plan or as an add-on.
Two of those three cost us the sale outright. A page that only ever arrives at its author gets cited by no one.
Identical structure, so the second one reads twice as fast
- 01 The verdict First screen. AXL takes one lane, never three.
- 02 Why people leave Four to six reasons, each sourced.
- 03 The matrix Price, cut, meter, courses, email, agent.
- 04 Eight to ten cards Best at, pricing, choose it if, skip it if.
- 05 Need to option A table naming a competitor over AXL.
- 06 FAQ and a date So you can see how old the prices are.
Best if you want an AI agent to run the whole business
Reachable end to end by an agent, and the agent creates live objects rather than drafts; publishing and sending stay separate, deliberate steps. Its own AI runs in the admin if you connect nothing.
Skip it if you need SCORM, a branded learner app, merchant-of-record billing, or resale of the platform to your clients. Three of the four are somebody else's job on this page.
Every competitor figure traces to one maintained file: source URL, read-date and confidence per field. A vendor reprices, that file changes first.
Pick the one you are leaving
The line under each title is the reason people usually arrive at it.
Kajabi alternatives
Basic holds 2,500 contacts; the next one is $249 a month (kajabi.com/pricing). Compared: AXL, Teachable, Thinkific, Kartra, ClickFunnels, Circle and Skool.
Teachable alternatives
Three walls, one plan: the 7.5% Starter fee, the 100-active-student ceiling, and a REST API that starts at $189 Growth (teachable.com/pricing).
Thinkific alternatives
For the renewal notice, or the outside email tool you quietly pay for. If you need SCORM, this guide tells you to stay.
GoHighLevel alternatives
For people who found the learning curve, the per-sub-account add-ons or the deliverability warm-up harder than the demo suggested. If you resell the platform, this guide tells you to stay.
ClickFunnels alternatives
For the fourth course, or for agent access without the $197 tier and its technical-preview caveat (clickfunnels.com/pricing and support.myclickfunnels.com).
Kartra alternatives
For people who crossed 2,500 contacts onto $229 a month for list size alone (kartra.com/plans-and-pricing). The bundle is wide; the meter is your database.
Skool alternatives
For a business that has outgrown the feed: no published API, no member tagging, no email marketing, and a percentage that never reaches zero. If daily engagement is the whole product, this guide tells you to stay.
Circle alternatives
For people adding up $89, plus 2% of sales, plus $99 for Email Hub, plus $199 for unlimited workflows and agent access (circle.so/pricing).
What sends people looking, platform by platform
One row per guide: what usually starts the search, and the case where the honest advice is to close the tab.
| Leaving | What usually starts the search | When the guide tells you to stay |
|---|---|---|
| Kajabi | Contact 2,501. Basic holds 2,500; the next tier is $249 a month, so the bill moves before the revenue does. | If a branded learner app, podcast hosting or a decade-old brand is part of what you are buying. |
| Teachable | The 7.5% Starter fee, the 100-active-student ceiling, or a REST API that starts at $189 a month. | If BackOffice (author and affiliate payouts with tax handled, at 2% to 2.8%) is doing real work. Most of this field does not do that job. |
| Thinkific | The ~10% increase effective for renewals, or years of paying for an outside email tool alongside it. | If your buyers hand you SCORM packages. AXL cannot host SCORM at all; Thinkific does, on Plus. |
| GoHighLevel | The learning curve, the per-sub-account add-ons, the email warm-up. AI Employee across ten sub-accounts adds $500 to $970 a month on top of $297. | If you resell the platform as your own software. SaaS mode on Agency Pro at $497 has no equivalent here. |
| ClickFunnels | The fourth course. Launch allows three at $97; the fourth, and the MCP server, both live at $197. | If funnels are the product and courses are a side dish. It is still the best funnel builder in the category. |
| Kartra | Crossing 2,500 contacts onto the $229 plan for list size alone, or the 5% fee and one-product limit at $59. | If unlimited email from the $119 tier up is your biggest line item. Price it against a metered bill first. |
| Skool | A percentage with no ceiling (10% on Hobby, 2.9% on Pro), plus no published API, no member tagging and no email marketing. | If daily engagement is the product. Skool's gamification and discovery network are better than ours and the guide says so first. |
| Circle | The stack: $89 plus 2% of sales, $99 for Email Hub, $199 for workflows and agent access. Each step is small; the total is not. | If a beautifully finished member experience is what you sell. Circle is the most polished community product here. |
Three of the eight rows end in “stay where you are”, and two of those are lanes AXL cannot enter at any price. The guide is still worth ten minutes; the recommendation at the bottom just will not be us.
Try the replacement before you cancel anything.
