5 ClickFunnels alternatives in 2026, compared on caps, cost and AI access
Two ceilings send people here: the fourth course, and wanting agent access without moving to the $197 tier.
Why people leave ClickFunnels
- Courses are metered. 3 on Launch, 6 on Scale, 10 on Optimize, 20 on Dominate. A fourth course costs $100 a month regardless of what it sells (clickfunnels.com/pricing).
- Agent access starts at $197, experimentally. The MCP server needs Scale, and ClickFunnels' own docs call it a Technical Preview that “may change without notice” with “limited support coverage” (support.myclickfunnels.com).
- Bugs and speed. Reviewers report instability and slow load times as ordinary rather than occasional (bloggingx.com/clickfunnels-2-0-review).
- Thin student-side delivery, per reviewers. No engagement tracking, no video-retention analytics and no student-side community; that is the reviewer's account, not a ClickFunnels statement (learningrevolution.net/clickfunnels-review).
The five, in one table
| Platform | From | Cut of your sales | Courses | Metered on | Agent access |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| ClickFunnels (yours) | $97 | 0% | 3 / 6 / 10 / 20 | Contacts, workspaces, courses | Scale $197, technical preview |
| AXL | $49 Starter | 0% | Unlimited | Eight usage meters, same overage rates | Included on every plan |
| Kartra | $59 | 5% Essentials, then 0% | 1, then unlimited | Contacts, 500 → 25,000 | No first-party MCP |
| GoHighLevel | $97 + metered | 0% | Unlimited | Sub-accounts, usage | Live, 40 domains; gate not stated |
| Kajabi | $179 | 0% on Kajabi Payments; 5% down to 0.5% with your own | 5 on Basic | Contacts, products | Every plan, drafts only |
| Teachable | $39 | 7.5% Starter, then 0% | 5 / 10 / 50 | Active students | REST API from $189 |
What each one is good at
AXL: if an agent should run it
Removes both ceilings: no course cap, and ~1,100 agent operations in production. The checkout is a page element, so a bump can add or replace the main product and upsells chain without re-entering card details. From $49/month, 0% of revenue.
The catch: ClickFunnels' builder, template culture and partner network are far larger than ours. No SCORM, no podcasts. AXL vs ClickFunnels →
Kartra: the closest bundle
Pages, checkout with bumps and upsells, memberships, unlimited email from Starter, video, affiliates and a helpdesk. It covers the same job with unlimited products above the entry tier. $59 / $119 / $229 / $549 (kartra.com/plans-and-pricing).
The catch: contacts become the meter at 500 / 2,500 / 12,500 / 25,000, and there is no first-party MCP server.
GoHighLevel: if you also serve clients
CRM, pipelines, funnels, outbound SMS and calling, unlimited contacts on every plan, and, uniquely here, sub-accounts, white-label and SaaS resale. $97 / $297 / $497 (gohighlevel.com/pricing).
The catch: the learning curve is its most-cited complaint, add-ons compound per sub-account, and a migrated list needs a sending warm-up.
Kajabi: an expert brand, not a funnel
Unlimited funnels, landing pages and marketing emails on every tier, plus podcast hosting, branded learner apps and an MCP server on all plans. $179 / $249 / $499 (kajabi.com/pricing).
The catch: contacts metered from 250, products capped below Pro, and agent writes that land as drafts.
Teachable: if you kept it for the courses
A clean course product at the lowest entry price here, with a learner app and BackOffice (2% to 2.8%) handling author payouts and international tax. $39 / $89 / $189; Starter takes 7.5% (teachable.com/pricing).
The catch: no funnel builder of ClickFunnels' calibre, students capped at 100 / 1,000 / 5,000, no API below $189.
Your reason for leaving, and where it points
| Leaving because… | Pick |
|---|---|
| You need a fourth course | AXL, or Kartra from Starter: neither meters courses |
| Agent access without $197 and a preview label | AXL: included on every account |
| You build funnels for clients | GoHighLevel: sub-accounts and white-label, which we do not have |
| Funnels are still the whole job, and they work | Stay. Its builder and ecosystem are the standard |
| Lowest possible monthly bill for one course | Teachable Builder |
| One bill for pages, checkout, email and a helpdesk | Kartra |
Where AXL fits, and where it does not
It fits the ClickFunnels user whose catalogue outgrew the plan and whose buyers now expect delivery (lessons, tests, certificates, a community) on the same record as the checkout.
It does not fit a direct-response operator happy with three courses. Switching to gain features you will not use is a cost, not a saving.
Moving off ClickFunnels

Which ClickFunnels alternative has no course limit?
AXL has no course tier, Kartra allows unlimited memberships and courses from Starter upward, and GoHighLevel's Memberships product advertises unlimited courses. On ClickFunnels the limit is 3 / 6 / 10 / 20 by plan, so a fourth course is a $100-a-month upgrade before it sells anything (clickfunnels.com/pricing). Kajabi and Teachable cap products too, just higher up.
Try the replacement before you cancel anything.
Import the contacts and rebuild one funnel while the old account still runs. Plans start at $49 a month, with included usage and published overage rates.
